Biographical Summary: Gary Kopacek


Gary's career spans more than 25 years of high quality experience in marketing. He has experience and expertise in all aspects of brand development including marketing research, strategy development, branding process improvement, advertising and integrated marketing. Gary is the founder of Mill City Marketing and the President of Survey Value Inc.

After earning his MBA at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, Mr. Kopacek worked for large firms in the transportation industry, the pharmaceutical and hospital products industry, and the consumer products industry.

He was employed in management positions by Burlington Northern, Abbott Laboratories, Ecolab and NordicTrack. His roles included strategic marketing planning and marketing management including executive supervision of market research, creative services, public relations and media management.

Prior to Survey Value Inc., Mr. Kopacek's marketing services experience includes Vice President positions in two advertising agencies where he was responsible for management of marketing strategy, advertising strategy, market research and client services.

Gary has provided marketing research and marketing services to over two hundred clients in a wide range of industries including these prominent brands and others: Airtran Airways, ATT, Country Inns and Suites, Deluxe Corporation, Federal Express, Honeywell, Polaris Industries, Tennant Company, 3M and United Health Group.
